Dr. James A. Ferguson, Dean of Tuskegee University's SVM, is pleased that the School is being represented during National Farm Animals Awareness Week. Participating in this lecture is a logical extension of her activities as the 4-H Club advisor and an instructor in the Department of Clinical Scienceg Large Animal Services. Under her leadership, the Club has dis- tinguished itself by the numerous awards it has won with goat exhibits," The Macon County Extension System oversees the function of the 4-H Club. Dr. Diffay said, "Tuskegee University's SVM and 4H-ers' parents have been very supportive of the Club's efforts; however, we are always in need of additional support. Dr. Diffay is one of 10 veterinarians at Tuskegee University's Large Animal Hospital who are trained in the prevention and treatment of diseases of cattle, sheep, goats, and hogs as well as recreational animals such as horses and pot-bellied pigs.
