Following is a summary of the activities of the Macon County Sheriff's Office for July 6-12, 2009/ July 6 • 9:01 a.m.--Criminal trespass, criminal mischief report at 110 Amber Road, Shorter. • 10:12 a.m.--Criminal mischief reported at 12960 U.S. Highway 80 West, Shorter. '• 11:20 a.m.--Arrest of Fredrick Brown on charges of domestic violence and assault. Held in Macon County Jail. • 4:42 p.m.--Accidental drowning (three victims) reported at 289 County Road 43 South, Opelika. (See obituaries on Page A-3). July 7 • 1:45 p.m.--Arrest of Aubery Kedem Ramsey on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Held in Macon County Jail. -2:13 p.m.--Interference with child custody reported in Shorter. • 3:55 p.m.--Road hazard reported at County Road 9, Tuskegee. July 8 • 10:53 a.m.--Harassing communication reported at 3450 Boromville Road, Hurtsboro. • 12:05 p.m.--Domestic violence and assault reported at 1691 County Road 19, Hardaway. • 12:26 p.m.--Arrest of Heather Danzey on charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Held in Macon County Jail. • 2:30 p.m.--Arrest of Cassandra Crown on writ of arrest for domestic violence and criminal mischief. Held in Macon County Jail. July 9 • 8:10 a.m.--Arrest of Lecreutta Davis on charge of failure to pay. Held in Macon County Jail. • 3:49 p.m.-Harassment reported at Pin Oaks Road, Auburn. July 10 • 6:24 p.m.--Theft of property reported at 131 Robinson Farm Road, Shorter. • 11:30 p.m.-Breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property reported at 66 Cox Road,, Tuskegee. July 11 • 8:47 a.m.--Harassment reported at 1-85 north- bound rest area, Tuskegee. • 8:52 a.m.--Missing Person reported at 343 County Road 46, Tuskegee. July 12 • 7:30 p.m.--Arrest of Cameda Cox on charges of failure to appear and theft of property. Held in Macon County'Jail. Day at Farmers Market this Saturday, July 18 The Macon County Farmers Market, located at the intersection of Elm Street across from the downtown Tuskegee Post Office, is having a Day at The Market Program on Saturday July 18 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The Macon County Farmers Market is a non profit venture for our community and it is designed to pro- mote healthy eating habits and to provide an outlet for locally grown produce in support of local farmers. Activities will include gospel smgmg, food demon- stration, watermelon eating contest, corn shucking contest, heart health recipe contest and vegetable baskets give-aways and other fun activities for chil- dren. Please come out and support :our Macon County Farmers Market along with purchasing your fresh produce from local farmers such as sweet potatoes, Okra, watermelons, peppers, cucumbers, corn, etc. The Market has been open four years and regular hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, please contact Henry Pace Sr. acting market manager at (334) 727-4705. Airmen Site seeks comments on General Management Plan The National Park Service has announced the availability of the Draft General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement for Tuskegee Amen National Historic Site for your review and comment. The best way to access the document is on-line at the following address: Nagate the "Choose a park" pull down menu to "Puskegee Airmen NHS" and then select 'Ihskegee Airmen National Historic Site General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement". Within this website you will be able to download the plan and comment on it on-line. If you are not able to access the plan on-line, the Tuskegee Airmen NHS has copies of the plan avail- able at the visitor center for your review. July 1 • Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Moss Flat Road. Reeltown FD also responded and assisted. July 2 • Officers removed a subject from a business on Tallapoosa Street. No further action taken.. • EMS personal responded to a call on Tallapoosa Street in reference to an unresponsive subject. Care Ambulance also respoladed and transported to medical facility. • EMS personal responded to a call of a subject having chest pains. Care Ambulance responded and transported. July 3 • Fire Department and EMS personal responded to a two vehicle accident on Hayes Mill Read. Care responded and transported two patients to emer- gency room. Alabama State Troopers took report. • Fire Department and EMS responded to a structure fire on Wire Road. Southwest Lee County FD and Little Texas FD also responded to assist. Under investigation. • Fire Department and EMS responded to a two- vehicle accident on the East Main Street Bridge. No injuries were reported. Notasulga Police took reperL July 4 • Fire and EMS responded to a structure fire on Tal]apoosa Street. Unknown cause of fire. July 6 • Rose Woodall was arrested on a warrant issued for charge of harassment. Released on bond until court. July 7 • Jeffery Milner was arrested on charges .of two failures to cemply with warrants through the Notasulga Police Department. • Domestic complaint taken from a subject on Gerald Robinson Drive. ° • Theft of property report taken from a business on East Main Street. July 9 • Montiez Woods was arrested on Railroad Avenue on charge of disorderly conduct. Subject was later released on bond pending court.
