J~rman of Muscle Shoals announce the engagement of their daughter, Saadia D. Jarman, to Kelvin D. Dumas, son of Mr. and Mrs Clarence Dumas of Tuskegee. The bride-elect is the grand- daughter of Bonnie L. Burgess and the late Mattie Burgess of Muscle Shoals and Ms. Nellie B. Jarman and Alex Jarman of Leighton, Ala. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at UAB, she was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Phi Sigma Biology Honor Society and Golden Key National Honor Society. The groom-elect is the grand- son of the Late Mrs. Josephine McGuire and Leon McGuire Sr. of Detroit, Mich., and the late Walter Dumas and Mrs. Emma Dumas of Auburn. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was in Air Force ROTC, Phi Sigma Biology Honor Society and Golden Key National Honor Society.
